You must be at least 16 years old to use DNSbyte. No account or registration is required.
Acceptable use
You may use DNSbyte for legitimate diagnostics, research and infrastructure checking. You must not:
- Use the tools to harass, attack or disrupt other people's infrastructure
- Use automated scripts to circumvent or exceed the rate limits (30 requests per 60 seconds per IP)
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law
- Attempt to probe, scan or test the security of DNSbyte's own infrastructure
We reserve the right to block access to any IP or range that breaches these terms.
Accuracy of results
Tool results are provided for informational purposes only. DNS propagation state, WHOIS registration data, SSL certificate details and other outputs depend on third-party data sources and may not reflect the precise real-time state of the DNS or the wider internet.
DNSbyte makes no guarantee that results are accurate, complete or suitable for any particular purpose. Do not rely solely on DNSbyte for critical infrastructure decisions.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees about uptime, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Use of the service is entirely at your own risk.
Service availability
We aim to keep DNSbyte available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
